Amran Muhammad is the founder of GentleTorch, a mission-driven organization created to help older adults and their families navigate life’s challenges with greater confidence, dignity, and peace of mind.

Throughout his career in finance, administration, education, and community development, Amran has worked closely with individuals and organizations facing complex financial, operational, and personal challenges. These experiences showed him how difficult it can be—especially for seniors and their caregivers—to identify trustworthy resources, understand available options, protect themselves from exploitation, and receive timely, compassionate assistance.

GentleTorch was founded in response to that need.

Amran’s vision is to create a trusted support network where older adults can access verified information, connect with reliable service providers, receive guidance when they feel uncertain, and remain active participants in the decisions that affect their lives. He believes that aging should never mean losing one’s voice, independence, or sense of security.

Under his leadership, GentleTorch combines technology with human compassion. The platform is being developed to assist seniors with financial education, healthcare resources, consumer protection, transportation, emotional wellness, caregiver support, and other essential services—all within an environment centered on trust, respect, and personal dignity.
